Our Story

Covid-19 has transformed our daily routines into a sequence of portentous moments and constantly reshaping our perceptions of the outer world. We now become more conscious to everything we touch and the number of feet that separate us. As it forces us to have a new relationship with the physical world, COVID has also forced us to make inner adjustments. To slow the spread of the illness, we must learn how to abandon the “fear of missing out” aka FOMO but instead embrace the “joy of missing out” aka JOMO.

Lejomo (Le means 'The') concept became the inspiration that arises from the chaos of the pandemic, but grounded on the experience we had that is now proving the relevance of having a F&B business model that goes beyond a cafe. Our business principles for our cafe is built based on the 3 pillars of Space, People and Food.

The Space

LeJomo is about …interior design with less technology.
We designed the space to be more functional but kept it minimalistic so that it can allow our customers to enjoy some Lejomo moments, without feeling guilty for not participating in one of the thousands of options in our city, because we hope more people will pay more attention to what is around them.

This is also the space for our customers to enjoy simple joys like reading a book, listening to the music, or even learning about coffee brewing. If you find it stressful to WFH, why not try WFC (Work from Cafe) instead? Sip a nice cuppa and watch people walking by, or take a caffeine power nap, find your LeJomo space that is most relaxing and cosy because our space is your mental wellness temple.

The People

Can you remember a time when a total stranger made your day? As customers ourselves, we understand what customers want, but we also know it's easier said than done. In spite of all the noise and hype involving customer service nowadays, we understand that everything truly boils down to one simple, age-old truth, often referred to as the Golden Rule: "Treat others as you would want to be treated" and this is what we have laid as the foundation of the Lejomo service culture for our people.

We at Lejomo takes every feedback seriously because we believe that developing an impeccable service culture is a lifelong learning from feedbacks. We aim to be better everyday to deliver the best to you, our customers.

Lejomo offers a healthy, diverse Asian/Korean diet, unadulterated coffee and tea of specialty grade with some buffer for sweet indulgence with classic cakes and pastries that aims to improve your emotional well being.
